Semi-Permeable Compartments

The technology builds upon existing hydrogel-based isolation approaches to capture single cells or molecules. They key improvement is the ability to reliably generate core-shell topology particles.

Tech description

Core/Shell particles topology ensures isolation of cells and nucleic acids, while being permeable to proteins and small molecules. Due to the liquid inner core, cell growth and molecular biology reactions can occur optimally in contrast to bulk hydrogel approaches.
